"Michigan Lakefront Home" National Home of Distinction Award "Excellence in Home Design"
Heritage Custom Builders of Paw Paw, Michigan was recognized as a "Home of Distinction" in the category of "Excellence in Home Design" for a modular home between 3,001 and 4,000 square feet at the annual Fall Showcase conference of the Building Systems Council; part of National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). This is the second time in three years Heritage Custom Builders has received this honor, also taking home the award in 2015. "I'm so proud of our entire team on this project" said Heritage Custom Builders. "Everyone pulled together to make this fantastic home a reality. We've tried to be something different among modular home builders – more than just another square box. This second award shows us we've done that. It's a real honor to get this type of recognition for our efforts."

In a ceremony that took place at the Building Systems Council's annual Fall Showcase conference and trade show in Washington, DC, Heritage Custom Builders was recognized as a Home of Distinction in the category of Excellence in Home Design for a modular home between 3,001 and 4,000 square feet. Presented by the Building Systems Council (BSC) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) 2015 Jerry Rouleau Awards for Excellence in Marketing and Home Design are seen as the pinnacle of achievement in the system‐built housing industry.
MHBA Home of the Month "Stone Lake Manor" Winning Design
This home is a system-built two story home designed in seven sections. Original design by Mike Coeling of Heritage Custom Builders in Paw Paw, Michigan and Marshal Erb of Marshal Erb Design in Chicago, Illinois. Includes 4,312 square feet of space on the main and upper level as well as just over 1,850 square feet of finely finished walk-out lower level. The plan boasts 6 bedrooms and 4.5 baths as well as generous living, family, dining, bonus/recreation areas and custom kitchen. Every square foot was utilized on the small 1/2 acre lakefront lot. Thanks to excellent on-site coordination, all seven sections were delivered and set the same day. Total time from groundbreaking to completion was roughly 19 weeks (not including the pool and landscaping which were completed the following spring).
